Just a quick update this morning. I got an e-mail from NCC today saying that the official start date for the protege program is Thursday, September 10th.
This is an interesting time for me. I know, thanks Captain Obvious. It’s just hard to know how to feel emotionally. I’m so excited to be going to DC to pursue my God given passion to use media to advance God’s kingdom. I’ve been following Mark Batterson’s blog (Senior Pastor at NCC) for a long time and own his books. He’s a gifted teacher and writer, and I’m excited to be working on-staff at NCC. I’m looking forward to developing my video production skills, my leadership skills, and growing in my relationship with God.
